Get Involved with Theatre at Hagerty High School
Theatre Classes
From Theatre 1 - Honors Acting Competition, students get a hands-on approach to learning all aspects of theater, including but not limited to theater history, acting, technical theater, improvisation, dialects, and detailed character work. Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors who have been inducted into Thespians can audition for the Acting Competition Course. All students involved in this course will prepare and present events at the District Thespian Festival.
Purebred Productions
Each year, our theatre department produces two - three main stage performances. These performances are open to all current students at Hagerty High School, whether or not they are in a theatre class. In addition to acting roles, there are several student leadership roles and crews to join such as Set Design, Costumes, Lights and Sound, Props, and publicity. Information about auditions, leadership positions, and crew sign up can be found outside the theater classroom 9-109.
